When you’re marketing for your own business, favor the consistent over the Oscar-worthy.
I gotta be honest, there are days after I publish an email
Where I wish they gave awards for this kind of thing.
Ummm… maybe not today, buddy π
But what I’m most proud of in those moments
Is the time spent,
Not the result.
I’m glad I spent my 25 minutes and no more
Because there needs to be a nice reminder for tomorrow
That it only takes 25 minutes to write my business words for my #1 client.
On the other hand
If I’d invested an hour and a half into getting that feeling
Then I’d lose the consistency
And the chances of getting that feeling back
Are so much slimmer.
See if this helps:
Speed is key
Strategy is nice
But if you can gain
Some measure of consistency
You can have all that
And a bag of chips
Assuming you know when it’s time to π
