It’s time to retire the “when you assume …” joke.
We’ve all heard the “when you assume” joke before.
When you assume, you make an a** out of “u” and “me”
Pretty clever as far as jokes go
But also somewhat harmful
With regard to growing your business.
See if this helps (more):
Try assuming the best
For a change
Imagine your prospect agreeing
To everything you say
And everything you offer
Imagine the relief
Imagine the victory
Imagine the joy you’ll feel
You working with them
And them working with you.
Is this guaranteed?
Nope
But just by imagining it
You might obtain
The sense of ease
And let go of the fear
Of reaching out to them
Either 1 on 1
Or through your lead generation.
If you feel like this will leave you unprepared
WHAT IF THEY SAY NO?!?!
Instead:
Try preparing yourself
To take “yes”
For an answer.
I’m here,
Kevin
