If you want to give away the benefit of your expertise, there has to be someone willing to receive it.
It’s now widely accepted
That a big part of selling
Is being willing to give away
A little bit of the thing you do best
With no strings attached.
Ok, maybe just one string:
Your prospect should be someone
Who finds value in what you do:
I’m pickin’ up what you’re puttin’ down! ????
See if this helps:
Find your people.
The people that love you,
Laugh at all of your jokes,
Open your emails ๐
And nod their head when your message starts to resonate
Who’s with me?
If you find yourself in the same boat
As a certain politician
Who at the end of his speech
Had to beg the audience to
“Please clap”
That’s ok.
Keep refining your messaging
But more importantly
Keep looking for the Inuits
Who can’t get enough of your ????.
I’m here,
Kevin
P.S. One way to do that is on LinkedIn. After you write your post, hashtag a new audience like so:
#plumbers #familybusiness #healthcare #speakers ???? ???? ???? ????
