This is GOLD, dude. I started doing this (collaborating over a shared doc) with customers recently and it’s amazing how bringing a “process of moving a relationship forward” has such a profound impact on the customer.
You’re no longer acting as though you’re going to “magically” assemble what’s best for the customer…….you’re using THEIR words to anchor the conversation, which means THEY are anchoring THEMSELVES to the final output (i.e. proposal, SOW, etc.).
Demonstrating that you have a repeatable, transparent system of gleaning insights from your conversations with a prospect is differentiated in and of itself.
