The more narrowly focused you get, the more universal you become. ~ Phil Rosenthal, Creator of “Everybody Loves Raymond”
This is how crazy the mind works:
If you’re insanely obsessed with sports
Which I care nothing about
And describe a play that you found mind blowing
I would relate to it
And to you
Because I too understand the feeling
Of being obsessed.
P.S. You can use your business words in the same way. All you need to do is make your reader feel what you feel and see what you see.
P.P.S. It’s also how Charles Barkley became close friends with a cat litter scientist.
