So much can get in the way of your prospect reading
And understanding
The first 7 seconds of your website.
See if this helps:
My daughter Pearl found a book in our home library about Thich Nhat Hanh.
She immediately went downstairs
And without showing my wife the book
Asked:
Who is Thich Nhat Hanh?
Which she pronounced Tik Tak Nat (she’s 10)
My wife replied simply, “He’s a famous Buddhist philosopher. Why do you want to know?”
And Pearl replied, “Because someone wants to eat him.”
And then showed my wife the book she found:
Here’s the thing:
When handing your website to your designer
You might say something along the lines of:
I want my website to have great design
With the ultimate goal being
That the design should make the words I have written
Undeniable clear
Extremely easy to read
And unbelievably easy
For my prospect to understand them.

Kevin
P.S. I gave those very same words to my designer Kellee Carroll and I think he came through with flying colors. I’ll let you be the judge.
