Opening a story loop is one of the fastest ways to draw your reader in.
Done well
Opening a story loop
Is a masterful stroke
Especially when placed at the top of a homepage
In an email subject line
The beginning of a LinkedIn post
Or direct mail parcel
Or how ’bout this billboard on Snelling Ave. in my stretch of St. Paul:
HEADLINE: We want those cars your neighbors wish you’d sell*
It’s called opening a story loop
And it draws you in so fast that by the time you’re done
It’s too late
Sorry folks, show’s over
You’ve already read it.
I’m here,
Kevin
P.S. The real beauty of this billboard is that it makes you continue the story in your head 🤣
