The hardest time to market yourself is when business is booming.
Most businesses only think about marketing when business is down
Crap, calendar’s looking a little bare!
Then of course when business gets cranking again
You’re too busy to promote your firm
And thus begins the boom and bust cycle.
See if this helps:
Before you get your day going
Even if it’s the night before
Write 1 email or 1 direct message to 1 person
Telling them about a service you offer
That made you think of them
And they’re unique situation.
When you’re done
Read over your copy
And if you’re left wondering:
Perhaps more people might like to hear this message
Do these 3 things:
1. Go on LinkedIn and copy n’ paste your message
2. Cut out anything that might be personal, like a specific name 😉
3. Click “post”
