You have to give your website visitor “rocks across the river.” ~ Donald Miller
If your website is a river you’re asking your prospect to cross
Give them each step to get across it.
If you put a rock too far out of reach
Even if there’s another one much closer
But just below the muddied water
No matter how inviting that just-out-of-reach rock looks
They’ll turn back.
See if this helps:
Provide a crystal clear path
For your prospect to follow
That adds value
To her or his professional and personal life
Every 7 seconds of your homepage
So that before they know it
They’ll entered their address
Their email
Or their phone number
Hoping you’ll get back to them ????
I’m here,
Kevin
P.S. This email was inspired by one of the greatest writers I know. Her first novel debuts in September and apparently Leif Enger (of Peace Like a River fame) is just as big of a fan. You may pre-order “The Net Beneath Us” here
