For example:
If you’re attempting to find a new market for your service
Start with the obvious “ask”
Who would want this?
Who needs this?
Who cares about this?
Who can’t live without this?
Who doesn’t need this?
But …
And here’s where it gets interesting
And possibly a bit awkward
Whatever question(s) you ask
Ask. Out. Loud.
In your office, in the shower, on a walk (maybe stick some earbuds in so it looks like you’re on a call)
And wait
…
…
…
For you
…
…
…
To answer
WUT?!
Just give yourself a beat
Maybe give your mind something to do
I count backward from ten.
And then …
See what comes out of your mouth
