People want to be spoken to directly – unless it’s about their problems.
Sometimes it feels good to be talked to directly on a website
Other times, it can feel oddly personal
And borderline accusatory.
See if this helps:
When you want the prospect coming to your website
Or reading your emails
To feel empowered
Talk to them like I’m speaking with you now
See what I did there with the “you” ⬆️
But when there’s a problem to point out
No one wants to be the only one who has it
You know what your problem is?!
Instead, try something like: “most people struggle with … (your problem)”
I’m here,
Kevin
P.S. You got a problem? [ahem!] Sorry, most people struggle with getting their prospect to contact them off their website. If you share this concern, reply here 🙂
