Shift the burden

From your plate to your client’s

When you shift the burden of expectations from your plate

To that of your client

You ask questions

And keep asking

As if you don’t know the answer

Because you sincerely do not.

When you begin the engagement this way

And persist

Your client will begin to understand 

That your time together

While not entirely in your their hands

At the very least

Depends on their willingness

To rise 

To your expectations

Of how deep they need to dig

To achieve the outcome

They hired you

To help them achieve.
