If it’s just you, don’t be a “we.”
It can be humbling in your messaging to say “I” rather than “we” or “us”
I get it
It just feels like you’re small potatoes
Playing the small stage
Stuck at the kid’s table
Right now, this is precisely where and who you want to be:
A giant slayer
See if this helps:
In this particular climate
Your ability to cut the crap
And be the one on your website that people know they’re going to get coming on the zoom
That someone from a larger organization can text or email
And just plain get in touch with
Will serve you well
If you’re an “us” or a “we” talking to a company with many decision makers
They don’t want to face an army of yet more decision makers
You can do the work of many and appear far more flexible, efficient and affordable
But because it’s just you
You get to take home all the marbles.
I’m here,
Kevin
