It’s nice for your prospect to know what you do. It’s even nicer to NOT know, until they know the benefit.
Long time readers of the 7SWS Daily Email know the golden rules:
- Know what you do
- And why you should care
- In 7 seconds or less
But from what I can see over the past few months, that appears to be changing
As we “dive right in” more and more prospects get to the end of the call
Express interest in the available service
Ask for the price
And only THEN do they say:
So … what do you do?
Just my 2 cents:
Right now, your prospect needs to care about what you do first.
Knowing what you actually do after that
Can actually help close the deal*
