What if you stopped just short of finishing?
It’s the most natural tendency we have as humans:
To finish.
Because let’s face it, there is nothing more satisfying than crossing something off a list
Unless of course you’re the prospect being crossed off.
See if this helps:
If you notice you’re at risk for going over your promised time
Imagine how freeing and relaxed and generous it might feel
For both you and your prospect
If you checked in with them and said something like:
Looks like we’re getting close to our time.
If you feel like you’re getting enough value from this
Would you like to spend a few minutes scheduling another call?
Which brings us to my next favorite thing:
Always schedule the next call 📆
