The cure to an illness

Is not the end of that illness’s curing business.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I started taking a life-changing drug about 5 years ago called Dupixent.

It’s a shot overnighted to me every 2 weeks in an ice-packed, styrofoam cooler

And ever since I started taking it, I no longer suffer from chronic sinus infections

Along with debilitating asthma and allergies which I’ve had since I was five.

It’s so revolutionary, it’ll set you back $3000 per dose

Our insurance covers it for which I am forever indebted to my wife – along with a bunch of other stuff like our children

But I’ll never forget my allergist telling me as she was scribbling out the prescription

Pen cap in mouth:

“Ya know, Kewin, ish drug ish prolly de end of my practish.”

That was over 5 years ago.

Today: she books 4-6 months out

For current patients!

And here’s why:

Even after you solve the problem

That’s been plaguing your client

For what seems like forever

A problem so big

They’d gladly hand deliver

Infinite amounts of cash

That kind of problem

Once gone

Demands recurring access to your brain

Because …

What if it comes back?!

I’m here,

Kevin
