Never, ever, ever, ever, ever offer up your expertise or advice in a 1-on-1 conversation on LinkedIn.
Save that for the sales call and here’s why:
It’s too easy to take it out of context
And make it look like you know your prospect’s business better than they do.
You can, however:
Wait for them to come on the call
Ask them questions about their business or their prospect first
Then:
Offer a LITTLE bit of your expertise
Followed by even MORE follow-up questions.
