If a youtube explainer video is your “go-to” when something breaks, consider that a helpful marketing strategy as well
Ever watch those short little youtube videos to find out how to change an outlet?
Fix a leak?
Install … anything?
They’re so helpful and offer so much value
It almost feels like they’re the reason youtube was invented
Which is probably why the creators of said videos
Can make decent coin off of them
Just by casually mentioning ….
“Before you attach the bike rack to the wall, be sure and use a studfinder. There’s a lot of good ones out there, but I’m partial to the Franklin Sensor Deluxe Mach IX Super Exacto.”
And there it is.
There WHAT is?
How they make money
Just by putting an affiliate link in the comments
And mentioning the product
For all of 2 seconds
In a way that doesn’t feel
The slightest bit sales-y
Or like selling at all
And here’s how you might do the same with your productized service:
Upload an explainer video
Describing how your target market can solve a nagging problem
Entirely on their own
Just a little bit faster
Easier
And more profitably
“With [INSERT NAME OF FREE DOWNLOAD HERE]”
And there’s your 2-second pitch
That allows your audience to take your service for a spin
And plant you firmly in their minds
As their “go-to.”
I’m here,
