“I write entirely to find out what I’m thinking, what I’m looking at … what I want.” ~ Joan Didion
There are days when you send out an email to your subscribers
And get a lot of “attagirl/boy!” and “nice one!” responses in return
And then poof!
It’s gone from your consciousness and that of your prospect’s
Where’d it go?
This is the ephemeral nature of email writing
But not really …
The content you push out that sticks in your brain is often a true insight that can be hard to let go of
Until one day
In a mad dash
You write it up as a new headline
Or even a brand new page on your website
That you can eventually offer up to your clients and prospects
As a new service you dreamed up
Out of whole cloth
Or an old email.
I’m here,
Kevin
