Your website visitor might not be staying for long. Unpack as much as you can for them.
We all think our business is self-explanatory
But even if it is, there are words that have become cliché
Or irrelevant to your prospect over time.
Use that to your advantage to stress test your messaging.
See if this helps:
Take a screen grab of your homepage and email it to yourself.
You might find that seeing your words come back to you
Makes them seem like they’re coming from someone else
And you’ll be able to spot what’s worth unpacking
And what’s worth leaving behind altogether.
I’m here,
Kevin
P.S. When you do read your website, read it out loud, even if it’s just to the mirror.
