Just evaluating my own strategy.
A few hours after I received Preston’s email, a referral came in from a current client that summed up my reply to Preston better than I ever could:
Dear (name withheld)
I’ve been working on redesigning my website with Kevin – – The 7-second website guy. . I really love working with him and thought of you. He is a web designer and writer. Attached is today’s edition of his daily newsletter. I’ll leave it to the two of you to connect.
