Limiting your writing time forces you – and your prospect – to focus on one thing.
As you’re writing your post, email or blog
And the timer begins to wind down
Other thoughts and ideas
Will naturally creep into your writing
As evidenced by an abundance of words
Spilling onto the page.
As the page gets longer
And longer
And longer
And your time remaining
Gets shorter and shorter
An uneasy feeling will start to rise in your chest.
How am I supposed to end this thing?
The good news is:
You’ve got one or more posts on your hands.
Simply scroll back up
Cut (do not delete)
The parts where you’ve gone off topic
And save them for tomorrow
When you will get your marketing done
Even faster.
I’m here,
Kevin
P.S. I originally wrote a nice long “P.S.” only to realize “Yup, that’s another email.” 🤣
