Your messaging should make your prospects think it’s all about them – not you π
In England, there’s a saying that
In accordance with classic British comedy
Sounds almost like a compliment:
“Well done, you.”
Until you feel the knife sink into your back ????
Bad marketing is the same.
If you can imagine your prospect
Scrolling through your homepage
Or any of your messaging
And having the thought
Well done, you
You’ve lost them.
Just change one word:
Use either the word “you”
Or the implied “you”
Just like I’m doing right now.
Remember: It’s not about you, baby.
It’s about “You.”
