Writing code makes you a writer

Software and website developers who write code are almost always exceptional writers

And here’s why:

Writing code is an artform that requires a lot of creativity and problem-solving skills.

Why?

It’s these folks jobs to create a simple, readable, and maintainable system that meets the requirements and solves the problem

Why bring this up?

Web developers are often pictured as hackers squirreled away in a dark room until the wee hours of the morning, when in fact, whatever skills they use to write code, for either the reasons above or for reasons that have nothing to do with any of the above …

They’re just darn good writers

Like Chris Ferdinandi who makes something very complicated for the rest of us look very simple and doable every. single. day.

The good news for web developers is:

You already have the skills to market your business

And probably do a better job of it

Than the rest of us poor hacks.

Kevin
